This season was in production when Disney bought Lucasfilm. They swiftly cancelled the series almost immediately. So this was how the series originally ended. It was an emotional time. Thankfully Netflix got the rights and paid for them to do season six and released that as "The Lost Missions". Then THAT was the series finale for SIX LONG YEARS before we finally got Season 7.
