A commissioned character I worked on. First time doing wings, but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I also exported him for VRChat so I got to learn how those systems work. Got also more practice with hair cards, so this was all around a pretty good study project!

Also wish I could rearrange the images, but Patreon apparently doesn't like that =w=

Wings always spook me, cuz I've never had a clear idea on how to right then so they can be properly closed. Are the closed/open wings two different models? Or have you committed black magic? XD

Hehe, no black magic so far ^^ But it definitely took me a couple of tries to find out how and where to bend the wings. I've uploaded a couple of animations to this post, one of them showing how the wings fold. It's an older screen grab, so the wings aren't the newest version, but the motion stayed largely the same.
