❄️ London Snow Day! ❄️

Amazing video! Thank you Grey!! The big gift of the London snow with all the little gifts inside (amazing shots and bird encounters!). Got snow in New Mexico yesterday too. Maybe not quite as rare, but got to take kids sledding.

My small corner of the globe also had a snow day as this was posted. This video inspired me to go for a walk once I'm finished with work.

This sparks joy.

Will Carlson

Theres a certain beauty in stillness of cities that is rare to find and appreciate, thanks for sharing Grey.

Grey is the eye of Sauron.

Oh wow! I love this video so much! We were lucky enough to visit London June, 2019 and this video brings back such wonderful memories (even though we weren't there in snow). I love the music too. Thanks Grey!

Your joy of the snow and laughter at the birds was just what I needed today! All of your vistas and bird encounters were fantastic. Thanks for the walk!

Thanking you. I love snow. It's rural where I am and the snow is out my window but snow in London seems extra transformative. You are good company in these lonesome times.

Brendan Beely

Can you share what piano piece is playing during your Shard viewing?

Anonymous

thanks for the parrots

Tru7h

Strange how these cold and lonely scenes bring such warmth to my grey heart..

Very fun and sweet. Thank you for sharing.

"The pigeon agrees with me" and the emphasis text with it made my day. Thanks for the laugh

You call THAT a beach??? 😂Lovely video, thanks for sharing!

WOOOOW! The view from the Shard was amaaaaazing! At first when I looked I thought "What? Do snow trucks not exist in London?" Then I realized the "road" covered in snow was actually the train tracks. 😂

Dragi Raos

"Adverse weather" :o)))

Cerity

Never thought I’d get a snow day ❄️✌️

Chris Faehl

About as much snow in London as Montana right now (very dry year).

Amazing lack of people for the first half, like post-apocalypse London!

I had a snow day yesterday in west Michigan, USA. We have about 6-8 inches or about 18 cm of snow!

*scootch scootch scootch scootch scootch scootch scootch scootch* This, like many things in this video, was absolutely delightful. Thanks for sharing this, Grey. ^^

I feel like I wasted the snow day now 😆 I mostly watched it from behind the window, though I did venture into the garden to bring some plants inside!

enchantedsleeper

Having just Googled "snow truck", I'm pretty sure we don't have those here because they would be totally pointless 😆 Not nearly enough snow! But we do have gritters to melt the small amount that settles.

Sunrise in London was at 7:40 this morning. So parks around this time are pretty empty.

This was such a lovely video in the middle of a very stressful week. Thanks for taking us on a walk with you.

I feel like Grey just took me out on a date :D (Very platonic date, don’t worry.)

Anonymous

This was wonderful, thanks for sharing. 🙂

Charming as always. I think I want a CGP shirt now.

"the beach" is open... :)

Beautiful, thanks for sharing your London with all of us! That was really special.

You think you have it bad?! I live in Israel, the summer here is hot, like really we have 40 Celsius on avrege in recent years. The summer is great, and we do have air conditioning. Fun Fact the last time it snowed in Tel Aviv (where I live) was 70 years ago! aka 2 years after the country was founded! Even rain is exiting here, so thanks for sharing your marvelous 6 sided snow flakes all around the globe!

I love, that the banner un the left let's you now precisely what to expect from a grey video. :D I think many people don't know about that, though... :/

Early edition of the Year of the Voyage. ❤️

The many moods of Gray: I just watched one of your GrayStillPlays videos, and it's a very different Mr. Gray than our host on this delicious slice of London in the Winter. PS: The parrot agrees with you, too.

This was lovely but made me a little sad as it went on when I realised it was shot in the past and you were visiting places that can't currently be visited. Was this Sunday's snow impetus to finally edit something that had been sitting on a hard drive for years, or had it been in the can just waiting to be posted on the next snow day?

Anonymous

I wonder if we witnessed the first outing in the Grey-lockdown

Lukaluke

I read that this was filmed years ago but posted recently.

Sean Munson

The important thing is ... one more distraction from the American Indian video we've been waiting 2 years for.

Jolie ot

oh how I would like to make snowmen☺️

Anonymous

Been to London a couple of times, but this was something else! Thank you for filming this =]

Thank for this! I've only ever visited London in the height of summer so this was utterly lovely (I'm kicking myself for not realizing that the Shard had an observation deck - next time next time...). What was that beautiful structure right before the one- minute mark please?

Peter Waller

This was incredible, thanks so much for sharing.

Anonymous

I think the structure you are talking about is the Albert Memorial. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Memorial

Lexi Aniston

wow amazing scenery 🤩
