"Moral of the story" by Ashe

I've been playing this song a lot as of late and it really resonates with me. I really like how the chorus repeats "Some mistakes get made // That's alright, that's okay" and I sing along with it when it plays. 

My reference photo (which is of myself) only had my bust in it, but I figured that having the whole body would be really cool. The sketch also started off to be less "intense" than the painted part. However I kind of like how it evolved, it shows more emotion.

I was going to pick colors myself but I knew it was going to be too bright. So I picked the colors off of the photo reference. I still need to work on colors, but I realized that I pick the "raw" color if left to my own devices lol

I really want to show the idea of reminiscing but going past those things. As when I listen to the song I think of many events in my life that could apply. But also how I'm away from those events now and those things are gone.
