[Report] I created an algorithm that understands screenplays. 🤯 (Patreon)

Hey guys! This week I worked on the new locations and also on the characters that will be introduced in the next step, I won't show you yet because I haven't decided on some details about their bodies yet.

I find that when I rely too much on my personal tastes regarding the appearance of characters I dislike some people. On the other hand, I have the impression that most complainers expected a game full of Nicole clones. So I'm thinking of ways to make those choices more democratic, but, for now, if you'd like to speak out about what kind of body shapes you want to see in the game, I'd really appreciate it.

But there was something else I managed to do this week that's a little hard to explain, but I guarantee it's pretty cool. Earlier, after writing the screenplay of each scene, I had to copy and paste and configure each line of dialogue or action within the system that controls the game's sequence. It wasn't hard but it could take some time and in some scenes with more than a hundred lines, I even suffered from system sluggishness.

So this week I create an algorithm capable of reading the screenplay I wrote and automatically generating the sequence within the scene, leaving me the job of positioning the characters and animating them.

As a result, I already have all the scenes sequenced and even playable in a text-only version. This will allow me to test the game's logic even before I have all the scenes ready. Last time I spent quite a bit of time testing and fixing logic problems after all the scenes were animated, so being able to test out right now is great news.

Next week I plan to work on the textures that are still missing for some characters and scene objects, and check the settings for previous scenes so I can publish an updated version of the previous content.
