The progress bar is a way to give you guys a sense of how the game development is going and how much remains to be done, it's simple to make and doesn't take up time, not to mention it's fun to fill in the blocks.

But sometimes an unforeseen event can make me spend more time on a stage than I had planned, that's what happened with the characters that all had to be redone. Another problem is that sometimes it's more advantageous for me to subdivide the work steps and fulfill several small steps, than to focus on a single big step and not be able to accomplish it in the day, especially when I have to share the work time in the game with others jobs I do to pay the bills. I have to explain this because the fact that I'm not updating the progress bar might seem like I'm not progressing, when in fact I've completed a small portion of almost all the steps left for the game.

With that explained, let me tell you what I did this week. I finished converting animations for all characters. This was necessary because skeletons are now standardized, different from what they were before. The advantage is that now I can, for example, copy the hand animation from one character and paste it into another, this will save me a lot of time.

More than a year ago I bought a Blender add-on to create hair and I hadn't learned how to use it. This week I took the time to look at some tutorials and managed to get a character's hair done. This is good because it will allow me to create different hairstyles for each character.

I also created more costumes for some characters and did various animations for almost every scene. I now intend to focus on the opening scene of chapter 2, which will be the hardest to do. This will be the scene that I'll make available to you as a playable demo along with a bonus scene that's already done, it's a  non-interactive music video made with ready-made animations, it's something simple but I had a lot of fun making and I hope you like it.

The main screen of the demo is also completed, and that's what you can see in the video. I can say that everything is flowing well and I'm managing to take advantage of the time I have available to work on the game.

And that's it, I really appreciate the support you give me. We are already close to halfway through the first goal and this makes me very confident.

Thank you very much and see you later!

Thank you Arsha! I had less time to work this week, but I think by Sunday I can release the demo.
