Happy New Year! I actually got this one out before the end of the year.

A big DISCLAIMER: these will only work well with thinner necks. Some poses and animations are also not going to work well with them. I know but they work for the breed shapes I use and I need to pick my battles. I have included a lot of different combinations so hopefully some will work for your needs even if others don't (the closer to the shoulders the collar is, the more clipping issues it will have [in my experience]).

All neck collars are in Hat slot; leg bangle is in Sock; both bells are in Tail Base. Apologies for not including an extra screenshot of every one of them -- they all act the same; choose your favorite combination(s).

In this post:

  • Akhal-Teke inspired neck collars - Simple
  • Akhal-Teke inspired neck collars - Embellished
  • Indian inspired neck collars
  • Leg Bells, Leg Bangle, Ankle Bells
  • A merged package file of all the above (for those who want all the files in game, I encourage using this file instead of the zips with individual ones in them)

Note 1: I made the ankle bells by mistake. By that I mean, I didn't look back at my references to correct them to what is now the "Leg Bells" instead. Not sure what they'd be used for but they're made so they can be here, too.

Note 2: These collars are not a release made with practicality, only stubbornness. In my honest opinion, making a 2D alaja could work really well or even better. I'm not a 2D person, however, and it had been one of my goals since Sims 3 to make a 3D alaja. Before anyone corrects me on traditional color/pattern, I know and that's why I'm calling them "inspired" by the source material. Never I have yearned for Sims 3's CAS color picker more. Creating individual color files will always be my least favorite part about making Sims 4 CC. Didn't think it'd be fun to give just red and golden color...also was reusing the same texture files for the Indian ones and those come in all colors.

Note 3: The collars make use of the Hat texture area on the horse map. Anything that uses that space will overlap (some horse shoes and maybe breast collars, that I know of). I also don't plan to change/add slots. You can use the collars with the bells with the bangle + standard riding tack (including my liberty collar) without issue.

Usual stuff: meshes are relatively high poly, will deform with some morphs, follow TOU, feel free to add swatches/make recolors as long as result is kept free (no early access) and credit is given.
