Update 11/30/2023: If you are having a weird texture issue with the Figure 8 bridles, try having my "Bitless Flower Hackamore" in game as well. I can't figure out why this fixes it (S4S should have embedded anything I cloned) but it seems to.

I made two types of Figure 8 because I was testing how smaller vs longer bits would look and both looked okay so both are available. I wanted the drop noseband done with these but it's giving me some issues so it'll be with the racing bridle instead. Probably not the most desirable bit with the Micklem but I thought it looked neat; when I open up my bridle request form, you'll have the option to request a different bit.

In this post:

  • 1. Figure 8 Bridle with Dutch gag bit
  • 2. Figure 8 Bridle with V-browband
  • 3. Swedish Bridle with D-bit
  • 4. Micklem Bridle with loop bit

Original meshes by me, SchrodCat. Textures by MinervaMagicka.

Warning: bridles are high poly. I don't have the same skill as Maddie to comfortably make a high and low poly version. They are all at least half the face count as they originally were, but if you're running Sims 4 on a literal potato, there may be issues.

As with all our meshes, do feel free to edit the textures as long as you link back to us, follow TOU, don't monetize edits, etc.

As noted previously, the bit parts will deform. On some horses, fairly little. On others, a lot. If/when I discover a better way to address this, I will update. The alternative is to not have the bridles change at all with different head shapes and that's worse, in my opinion.

Hello, love your beautiful creations, but I have small glitch with these bridles of yours. They seems 'two colored', but not how it should be. The colors are divided horizontally, on monochromatic bridles, one side looks darker, the other lighter. I tried to put them without other equipment, but this effect remains. Am I doing something wrong?

Could you give me an image? You can link me to one here or send me a message. It's hard to know if it's an anomaly or if it's uneven shading on the textures
