I am excited to announce that not one, but seven bridles will be releasing in the next few days (four are made for saddle seat so don't get too excited). This includes the long awaited dressage bridle seen in the video.

However as you can also see in the video, there is an issue with how Sims 4 works that we can't currently resolve (to my knowledge). This is excessive deforming of the bits with certain head shapes. I flip through the EA presets to show this albeit I hope some of them are not typically used (at least in RP communities).

But the one I know is used, having been in the horse Sims community before, is the dished face. The preset is rather strongly dished and you can see it looks relatively fine in a subtler dish.

What can I do about it? Not much, however I can offer to make two versions of the bridles on which this most noticeable, ie a standard and a dished face version, each having different deformation maps. This would be on bridles that have longer bits. Luckily, rounded bits are fairly well preserved.

Would there be any interest in this or am I overthinking it? I don't personally use very dished faces so that is why it is not the standard version. It still won't get rid of the issue completely and there isn't a way right now--that I know of--to do so, but I recognize it is unsightly if you are playing those types of horses. Thoughts?

These will start releasing tomorrow. I've finished the package files but need to get preview images. I am so very tired. It has been a hard day for reasons previously mentioned. Miss you, my friend, but I know you are no longer hurting.
