Update: I added accessory versions, both with Hat and Tail Base options. These include my standard swatches for the half pad; no need to do anything with the psd. Add them to your horse's blanket from the accessory category.
I am working on some more 3D saddle pads but in the meantime--and since I was assured it is wanted--here is a half pad that any 2D saddlepad can be added to!
THIS IS A BLANKET
I say that loudly because as I was making this post, I realized I could have made this as an accessory. It is a blanket so that you can use the psd file to add your own swatches or paste previously made saddlepads into it. If anyone wants to have it as an accessory, let me know. Otherwise, I figured we have too many accessories for the slots available.
In this post:
Half Pad - Realistic Fit
Half Pad - EA Fit
PSD for recolors
Fits: Dressage, Jumper v1, Jumper v2, Hunter, General Purpose, Iberian, Endurance, Icelandic, Australian, Saddle Seat (EA fit only)
Will not fit: Racing
Fits imperfectly: Side Saddle (EA fit only)
NOTE: this base package only has three swatches--half pad alone, half pad with dressage guide, and half pad with jumper guide. This is because it is made specifically to be recolored. I will not personally be adding recolors to this. That is for you to do!
Creators want to add their previously made saddle pads? Just copy & paste! Using the provided psd, paste into the layer underneath the desired sheepskin color (use shift+ctrl+v in Photoshop to paste in place), merge, and import as a typical recolor. You are welcome to embed the half pad mesh so that this package is not required but If you are adding swatches instead of cloning it, please direct players to this post to download the original mesh here.
If you do recolors or add your previous 2D saddle pads and let me know, I'll update my post that lists recolors of my CC with the site link to your download.
Usual stuff: meshes are relatively high poly, will deform with some morphs, follow TOU, feel free to add swatches/make recolors as long as result is kept free (no early access) and credit is given. Credit to MinervaMagicka for the original asset.
