I thought I'd make a brief update on how game development has been going this month, and how I want to do things in the future.

So my goal with Hexalt game development is that I'm aiming to make fetish games in the style of visual novels, but with mini-game components centered around stuffing/weight gain/pregnancy/etc., a bit like Yuletide Sophia. And I'd love to add simple exploration mechanics with lots of player choice to my future games: if you want the protagonist to go down to the restaurant and absolutely stuff herself with burritos before wandering around town, then do that!

But the goal is to go from smaller to larger here, in which I finish my smaller game ideas first before I start working on my larger ones, which hopefully means I can get games done faster.

I've spent most of January improving my tools and my workflow. I use Unity as my main engine, and I've started using a free add-on called Fungus, which adds all kinds of visual novel functionality to the game without me having to take the time to code it myself, which is very nice. If you're a Unity dev who wants to make heavily narrative-driven games, I highly recommend looking into Fungus.

My goal with this is that ultimately, I'd like to make the entirety of Hexalt centered around comics and fetish games. I hope you'll like what I've been cooking up, and I hope you're excited to see it as much as I am excited to work on it.

Oooh sounds awesome! Though I prefer comics and pictures myself. Great job on the developing and I'm really excited to see a game or two!
