One of the things that eluded me about this movie for the longest time was the name. It wasn't just about the fish growing bigger in a larger body of water, but the name itself is the equivalent of any fisherman story, where each telling the fish grows in size. "I caught a fish this large."

It is now Feb. 14, Valentines day. Watching Big Fish with you Holden and Jen, is my first time ever seeing the movie. Edward working 3 years for Danny DeVito's character just to know everything about Sandra reminds me of Jacob in the Book of Genesis working for Rachel's father so he can marry Rachel because he loves her that much and he loved her the second he saw her. I believe God creates someone for everyone, the same way God created Eve to be Adam's helper. So I believe God made Jen for you, Holden. God is love and love conquers all.
