I don't think Favreau knows how water works. Cause ain't no way Mando got dragged under by a creature that size without him seeing its hand or making waves in the water, so my head cannon is he slipped. Also I guess the ig side quest was pointless then(I've had many people say how it'll pay off later but it's still lazy writing to just set it up just to drop it in the next episode). I liked the episode but I'm not hooked on anything as off yet, again maybe its because the Bad Batch episode was a legitimate Master Piece of animated story telling(obviously no spoilers), so it's 2-0 Bad Batch thus far 👌

I'll give a positive that Bo Katan was cool and her with the darksaber was cool af. She was definitely the highlight. Also Visually it's amazing. If this was episode 1 I'd probably be way more happy

But... He didn't get dragged down at all his armour was just far too heavy that it pulled him through the broken floor (Opened by the bombing of Mandalore) that lead to a deep underwater cave housing the Mythosaur. So I disagree with Faverau doesn't understand how water works as the Mythosaur never touched Mando at all at least physically. Also I can't speak on the IG-11 stuff yet as even Rebels introduced stuff in episodes which didn't come back until two or three episodes later. Mando Season 1 left Boba Fett hanging until Episode 6 so yeah I see no reason why they'll not get back to IG-11 after pulling down his statue lol Bad Batch was great but I'm still confused on why fans are comparing a show in the middle of it's Season after it's had a bunch of episodes to built itself up to a show that's on it's second episode. It's not a football match to see what shows better I'm just glad we're getting two Star Wars shows releasing at the same time. I remember when Tales of the Jedi released alongside Andor and you had people comparing them two shows for some reason "Tales is true Star Wars" or "Finally Star Wars is back" and I'm just chilling watching the show separate to my love of Andor.

It's not a ligit comparison, it's just fun to see which was better week to week. Obviously it's not a fair comparison as Season 2 is almost finished and Season 3 has just started. Also that bombing reason is such a stretch but its a nitpick anyway. I am just worried now that Mando is the main star wars project they are gonna get lazy. Its fun so far and I'm by no means disliking it or being a hater but I'm concerned is all. Also Holly shit Bad Batch episode 12 did no need to slap that hard. Like omfg, might be the best stand alone episode of star wars ever (by Stand alone I mean you could not watch the rest of the show and it would still make sense)
