My opinion is not that it is an awful show but that it has so much more potential to be better. A focus more one Ankin/Vader and Obi wans relationship would be so much more interesting (getting that in episode 5 is to little to late). Also the camera work had been so poor, its a disney budget bur it's filmed like agents of shield (I love agents of shield but it's clearly not a high budget show like Kenobi)

Also if I had an someone on my dark force uses team that I knew was going to betray me and knew who I secretly was I would never risk her being alive 10+ years after the fact. That's a silly plan Vader

Show is great. I love all Star Wars. Sure some aren’t as great as others. But it’s all Great as a whole. Star Wars for life!

I'm not an expert in Star Wars, but I do remember both Anakin and Luke had a natural affinity for technology. I think they explained this in a novel about a different Jedi who's affinity was strictly sensing tech and how to fix/ build what he wanted. Personally I always had a theory that this ability resides in the grey area of the Light and Dark side. So one has to tap into both (either biologically like Anakin or after like other Sith and Jedi).

To Jenn’s point about Reva’s seemingly divided focus, i think its important to consider she’s fallen to the darkside. It’s all about hate and revenge now, she was happy to kill civilians in her way. At the same time, her proficiency with the Force is still quite low, as is her military training since she never made it past youngling and didnt see true combat

It's been confirmed he survived cause he has 2 stomachs...

Also to add to that, Vader and the Grand Inquisitor intentionally train the inquisitors as to not be a real threat to Vader.

Assuming that you’re just skipping Ms Marvel

Nope but we'll likely have to go back to it. We're doing The Boys, Kenobi, Stranger Things, Indiana Jones, and Clone Wars for the Patrons. We really just can't squeeze much more in currently. But yes, I definitely want to see it and we'll get there!

I love this show so much, this episode was such a nostalgia trip for me!

To counter Jenn's argument, I think (similar to what Holden said) Reva was just using the closest opportunity she had, which was using Kenobi's presence to blind Vader, as a way of getting a chance to kill him. Was it a sloppy attempt considering how powerful Vader is? Sure, but that was the point. It was to show that no one stands a chance against Vader except Obi-Wan. I don't think she was "teaming up" with Kenobi. She just saw a chance and went for it. I still think she hates Kenobi. Also, in regards to Holden's comment/speculation about Vader finding out that Luke is his son in the next episode, that wouldn't make much sense (and would break major continuity) considering that Vader doesn't find out that he has a son until after 'A New Hope.' The event in question takes place in a comic book, but the story is canon. It's actually Boba Fett that delivers the news to him.

Hey Holden and Jen, The reason a lot of fans were upset about the Grand Inquisitor scene was due to the fact that we know how strong he is in Rebels. It seemed like a convenient plot point for added shock value. Also another grievance alot of fans have is that even though Vader knew Reva was the youngling, he still wouldn't have let anyone live who knew his secret. Only Tarkin, Thrawn, and Sidious knew he was Anakin and killed anyone who got close to finding out. Lastly I understand that Star Wars was somewhat clunky and comedic in the original trilogy, but (IMO) the current shows shouldn't be hamstrung to those kind of elements, especially with the budget and resources Disney have. People are upset because if you take away the Star Wars aesthetic, this shows writing is questionable at best(being very generous) (ie. the CW). All I am trying to say is that why can't Star Wars have great moments like Starkiller pulling down a star cruiser, Vader vs Reva, and Luke training Grogu; while simultaneously providing a well written story (i.e Stranger Things, Succession, Ms. Marvel, The Boys, Peaky Blinders, Under the Banner of Heaven). The writers essentially took the plot and main antagonist of The Fallen Order (videogame) and made it worse. This show should of been treated with better care and love for established characters such as Obi wan and Anakin/Vader. At this point Reva has killed hundreds of force sensitives, there is no way for her to redeem herself with an episode left. Clearly the writers are gonna have her go to Tatooine and Kenobi is going to talk her out of telling Vader. She'll lie to Vader and he will kill her. Lastly Holden, Vader didn't know he had children until the events between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back( it was written in the Vader Comics).
