The big winner of these eps is Padme, as we really didnt get enough of her in the movies getting shit done The other big takeaway though…should be Palpatine. Even if he doesnt show much that much, these eps show how effective his manipulations really are. He wasnt just a super powerful sith lord, he was a skilled politician and strategist. He really had the Jedi AND the galactic government twisted up I do think folks were off by an arc. The next one has the laser swords and fighting that Holdens been waitin for

I started bench watching this when I was 11 and it was on Netflix, the first 2 and a half seasons I enjoyed like I enjoyed any other tv show, but this arc and many of the following arcs really began to intrigue me and taught me a lot about real world politics. Even though I was a kid I totally understood what they were talking about and that is something I respect about this show, it doesn’t talk down to it’s audience even if it’s a kid. I also don’t think this show was meant for super young children lol.
