Hey everyone! Wanted to give everyone an update on what's going on with us.

First thing: our honeymoon has been great. We're currently in Fort Lauderdale and will be getting back to our actual home this Wednesday. Trying to remain positive in that regard.

Secondly, as a few of you know, we've been having trouble getting internet at the new place since we moved in. It resulted in several videos not being made including the first Moonknight episode before we left for our honeymoon, an April fools day joke video we wanted to do where "My dog watches Underdog for the first time" along with about 4 or 5 different reaction/commentary videos I haven't been able to make. I wanted to do a few deeper dive commentary videos about The Boys including a religious look at the series, episode 5 of season 1 in particular. A silly Easter video. We can't even do the Thor Love and Thunder reaction in a timely manner when we get back. We weren't able to do the Ms. Marvel trailer, and we had to get downloaded copies of Clone Wars in order to start going through those episodes.

We've been able to maintain our regular wife watches videos after buying the physical copies of the films either at best buy or Amazon and then driving to my old apartment where the internet is still connected, uploading bulk videos to Devin from my laptop and putting all the post work on him, including making the thumbnails.

If it weren't for Devin, we wouldn't have had any videos being produced this entire time.

It's been massively inconvenient, but should have been temporary. Well, we've been going back and forth with the internet company and the rental property company this whole time as well.

On our first day back to the states, I initiated a 3-way call with Mediacom and Mainstreet Properties to get to the bottom of the internet issue, to which Mediacom stated they cannot service our home and will not be servicing the area for the foreseeable future.

I have been telling the property company that the deciding factor of us moving to the property was that we were told by them that this specific company would service the address. We advised the company that we tried all other possible ISP's including AT&T, Cox, satellite internet, and even Starlink. The ONLY ISP that could service the area is Hughes Net which is a satellite internet company that has a max speed option of 25 MB/s which obviously isn't enough for video production.

I was met with "well, we'll see about canceling your lease then." Which means we spent thousands of dollars moving into this new home, paying for the rent and initial deposit, paying movers to help us move, and all the costs of starting new services, fees, and the general overall Hell of moving.

So now we're in the process of having to move AGAIN starting from scratch and will cost us thousands of more dollars to do it all over again with no reprocussion for the company that lied to us at worse about the internet, or at best was misinformed when they told us the house was serviceable and didn't bother to verify before having us sign.

I'm a pretty patient guy, but this has been such a frustrating experience on the heels of coming off our wedding and honeymoon. We're not even fully back yet and knowing we have to start over and have tons of expenses coming our way when we do is soul-crushing.

We purposely moved before the wedding so we wouldn't have to worry about it when we got back and we could eat all the expenses of a wedding and moving at once so we could begin saving and putting money away fresh after our big expenses.

Anyway, I've realized this has kind of turned into a venting post, but just wanted to keep you all updated with what is going on behind the scenes a little bit.

I'll keep you all updated with what happens with it as it'll likely be over a month or 2 before we get through an application process, hope there's an affordable home or apartment for us and the kids, and we physically move again. All assuming that they actually WILL cancel the lease. Not to mention how it might reflect on our credit if a lease is canceled, even if we're not at fault.

I haven't personally edited anything since we moved in and it's been a killer to my mental health. Making videos, even silly commentary just at my desk, or video essays, is like my anti-drug even before gaining a following on YouTube. It truly makes me happy. That's why when I haven't made anything in a while I just have to take advantage of the occasional sponsorship deals or make a silly intro for a My Wife Watches episode to get me by for the time being.

I've been having a notebook of piling up video ideas that I haven't been able to touch because of this internet thing, and knowing it's going to likely be months before I can actively make something personally or that feeling of "getting in the zone" editing is depressing.

And thanks so much for the support on here! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to pay Devin to edit all these videos, and would likely dramatically cut down on the frequency of videos being made, if any at all during this time. You literally keep the channel going.

The upside: I'm on fire to get more content made.

For the spidey short, I'm doing a couple of rewrites to get it finished. Should have just once more scene to shoot with the rewrite and I'm working on scheduling a time for some of the actors I'll need. The downside, the scene I'm cutting was supposed to be a Spidey action scene that I've been unable to get the amount of people needed to schedule it. I think it'll still be good, and without knowing the scene was supposed to be there, you probably wouldn't even notice.

The second spidey short (I posted the script already for select Patrons) should be a more streamlined and doable shoot. Should be MUCH faster to produce.

The third thing is a Batman short based on "An Innocent Guy" from the Killing Joke. I asked on YouTube a while back about a simple Batman storyline and I think that would be it. It's mostly a monologue with snippets of Batman throughout. I've already found my Batman and the main monologue character. Since it's so emotion based, it'll give me good director practice with an actor 1 on 1.

So those are the big 3 productions I'm wanting to do by the end of this year. All 3. Fingers crossed! Spidey 1 is almost finished filming, Spidey 2 (not related to the first short) is scripted and I'm casting a different Peter Parker, and I'll be scripting Batman from the comics when I get back.

I can do all of these without the internet so I'll take advantage of the opportunity.

If you've made it this far, thanks for reading my rant everyone!
