Edit:

Sorry, I totally forgot some clarity here. It would be just me and Jen for a MGFW watchalong.

Hey everyone! We're hoping to do a public watch-along this Saturday on the channel. We didn't have a MFW filmed since I was out of town last week when we normally film it, so we thought this would be a good time to try it out.

It will be public, but if you guys had any questions or special comments you'd want us to read live, shoot them in the comments below and we'll get to them. I figure we'll give everyone some time to get their copies of the movies ready, so we'll take a few minutes before actually starting the movie.

We're not set in stone on the film yet, but I wanted it to be something we've both already seen so we can interact in the chat.

We're thinking The Matrix. If you have any other recommendations that would be fun to watch while interacting, let us know!

I think Matrix would be a good movie. Giving Matt a break from Superhero stuff

Good will hunting

I think a drama like Perks of Being a Wallflower would be good.

Raiders of the Lost Ark, since it’s celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

My recommendation is Tombstone. It's on Matt's list of favorite movies, and it's a ton of fun.

It's about time you and Matt can watch The Rocketeer Holden!

Gerardo Vazquez

Bro you guys probably haven’t seen it but y’all should do this with Midsommar. Very interested of what you and the crew think of the movie. Just don’t say anything about or who directed the movie until the end discussion so they can all go blindly.

Jamie Tartt

I think Knives Out would be a great idea

I'm new to your Patreon, so I know I don't have a lot of clout yet, but I'm personally not a big Matrix fan. I'd rather see something like Apollo 13, The Martian, or maybe Die Hard. Something along those lines.

Mad Max, the new one

Ooh, Jen loves both Apollo 13 and the Martian. We actually watched The Martian just a week or so ago. I'll see if she would rather watch one of those.

hthardman

She actually hasn't seen it yet, but I'd love to do it for a series video.

Boonhouse

Love The Matrix!

Jamie Tartt

Honestly just do Civil War if you haven’t already watched it with her. People are dying for that reaction

I don't like the Matrix... I second the Martian. Or Chef by Jon Favreau with other Marvel actor cameos. Could be exciting for everyone to see the familiar faces and FOOD.

Interstellar. The Rocketeer. Dick Tracy. Back to the Future.
