I know you wanted closure but here's an interesting Lynch quote: "Closure. I keep hearing that word. It's the theater of the absurd. Everybody knows that on television they'll see the end of the story in the last 15 minutes of the thing. It's like a drug. To me, that's the beauty of 'Twin Peaks.' We throw in some curve balls. As soon as a show has a sense of closure, it gives you an excuse to forget you've seen the damn thing." Also remember when Gordon Cole said that Judy used to be called Jow-day, which most theorize to be the Chinese phrase "Jiao Dai", a phrase meaning "to explain" or "to make clear". In other words, is the evil force Judy actually closure itself?

I was a little disappointed with Part 18 the first time I saw it, but it stayed with me. I kept finding myself thinking about it, and what it meant. Now, after rewatching the series more than a couple times, I think it was an absolutely brilliant way to end it. Keep in mind that 4 hour "Twin Peaks ACTUALLY explained" video is interesting and well-reasoned, but it is only one interpretation. I've come up with my own that I like far better. The journey is now complete. Thanks for sharing the ride, it was a pleasure!
