I owe you an apology for the recent quiet period. I've been deeply involved in hunting bugs, researching and brainstorming new plugin ideas, and I realize I haven't been as communicative as usual.

As we near the end of this year, I want to take a moment to express my immense gratitude to all of you, especially those who have been with me for a long time. Your steadfast support has been the cornerstone of developing this plugin bundle over the years. It's because of your continued interest and engagement that this journey has been possible, and I am committed to continuing as long as this passion exists within our community.

Now, let's talk about what's happening: I've been hard at work on a new update, and I'm thrilled to share that I'm now able to dedicate more time to our projects, thanks to some changes in my day job. This means I hope we can look forward to accelerated progress as we move into 2024!

But as I dive into this new development phase, I need your insights more than ever. You've experienced the intricacies of our existing plugins like Rope, with its advanced chains and ropes, Relax for controlling morphs and muscle poses, ReAnimator that brings your characters to life, Muscle Manager for fine-tuning muscle strength and flex, and Pose Camera for those stunning video creations. Not to mention our misc plugins like Ballpit and Floating, adding unique elements to your scenes. It's a lot to cover here.

Additionally, I'm lately keenly focused on tracking and eliminating bugs in my plugins. Given the complexity of the plugins, this is a time-consuming yet critical task. Performance is always a top priority, and I'm constantly working to ensure our plugins run smoothly and efficiently. I'm experimenting tweaking the UIManager as the complex UI also has been demanding on the hardware. A new HUD-mode might be useful if you want it more integrated to the original VAM UI.

I'm also excited to announce ObjectManager, which allows comprehensive control over all scene objects you have. This plugin introduces a much-needed hierarchy and inspector view, essential for achieving optimal control within VAM. ObjectManager is not just a significant tool for examining complex scenes; it's also vital for gaining in-depth control over the VAM engine itself.

Penetrator is another one, set to bring a whole new level of interaction and to setup really interesting sex-scenes. This plugin has been a labor to create dynamic sex scenes. However, it has been a real challenge, consuming a considerable amount of  time in development – close to a year now. Despite the effort, it's still not quite ready for a release. The intricacies of making it just right are proving to be a significant endeavor, but I'm committed to ensuring it meets our high standards and your expectations.

Here’s where you come in:

  • Feedback on Current Plugins: What do you love about plugins like Rope, Relax, ReAnimator, etc.? Any feature you're using more than others? I don't want to spend time on something that you're not using.
  • Improvement Suggestions: Is there an area in any of these plugins that could be enhanced?
  • New Ideas and Wishes: What are you hoping to see in upcoming plugins like Penetrator?

Your participation is vital. Your feedback not only helps in fine-tuning our current offerings but also guides the development of future plugins.

I understand the importance of not overwhelming you with updates, but also recognize the need for a fluid and rapid feedback loop for transparency and progress. Let me share my thoughts more frequent.

Thank you for your ongoing support and for being the heart of this creative endeavor. Don't forget to write down your thoughts and suggestions! Either public posts or private messages.

Now, I must get back to work to prepare it for release.

Cheers to our continued journey together,
Miscreatality

Just my 2c: What all this physics stuff is missing is a simple "node attractor": Select 2 nodes (anything like a hand or a CUA), add one slider to define how the nodes attract (from only one up to both nodes equally) and another for minimum distance (0 to whatever - like a rope). It sounds similar to what ropes and cuffs can do but would be much more versatile and easy to use.... e.g. let a person drag an item, tie 2 persons together...whatever you imagine.

I'm on the same page regarding the "Node Attractor" concept. In fact, it's something I've been contemplating already. It would complement the simplified rope plugin I'm working on, aimed at providing easy attachment options for any objects. The Node Attractor, with its dynamic interaction capabilities, is definitely in the pipeline for development, potentially as early as next month. Your suggestion reinforces the direction I've been considering, and I'm excited to bring this to fruition. Thanks for your input - it's great to see our ideas aligning!
