While testing out the plugins - I recorded a lot of videos because it was just too much fun! This is another video from a playtest where I combine the following

  • Balance (ReBalance step template)
  • ReAnimator (Loaded the simple arm/head muscle movement)
  • Pose Camera
  • Relax Gaze enabled (Eyes follow POIs)
  • SubMotion (Random forces)

VAM - Chill out and create life - Multiple plugin combination

While testing out the plugins - I recorded a lot of videos because it was just too fun! This is another video from a playtest where I combine the following Balance (ReBalance step template) ReAnimator (Loaded the simple arm/head muscle movement) Pose Camera Relax (Eyes follow POIs) SubMotion (Random forces) Do you want more development like this? You can support my work at https://www.patreon.com/miscreatedreality Credits to Hunting Succubus for Enhanced Eyes, acidbubbles for the morph timeline features and of course meshedvr for the virt-a-mate sandbox! Special thanks to all my patreons!

I Ann amazed at how far you have come and how quickly you have done it. There is one thing that I think would help with the “uncanny valley” though but I am not sure if it is possible. The movements seem to be binary or instantaneous when reacting to stimulus or balance. If there is a way to an exponential curve to movement acceleration, a ramping up of force on each motion, it would much better mimic life. She moves like she is made with servos that run a constant speed from point a to point b. With exponential, the speed of the movement from point a to b would be plotted on a curve that looks like a wave with the highest amplitude at the median point. Acceleration until the halfway point and deceleration until reaching point b.

How do you get them into that fluid 'T-Pose' position? Every option I've tried puts them into the default VAM T-Pose and so muscle animations, etc don't work at all. The only way to get the animations to work is to drop them to the floor, and of course that means the animations don't look like anything in this video.

It's very easy. Just Load the ReBalance step template in Balance. It's only the head that's keep the girl in T-Pose. I think I should create more tutorials/behind the scene videos instead.

Thank you very much! It's exactly comments like this I really appreciate the most! The leg-movement in the balance is linear as you said! It's quite easy to adjust it with a cubic ease-in/out movement instead. I'll try that and see if it's improving the realism!
