Hi Folks! I don't do a lot of posts just talking to you all, but I wanted to talk about some things you might not know about me as a person.

I'm bisexual, I use the term very flexibly to the point that it sometimes borders on being Pan, but I feel like bisexual fits my feelings better, so that's that. I don't want to explain further because it can get uncomfortable talking about these things.

I'm also non-binary, my pronouns are they/them. This has meant for the past couple of years after coming out I've been just initializing my first name. That's why this Patreon's actual website address had to be changed at some point. People close to me just refer to me as "M" (and you can too), and I've had a lot of difficulty coming up with a better name.

Also, if you weren't aware, Mx. is the formal title of a non-binary person. Like when Ms. Mrs. Mr. are used. So when referring to me it would be something like Mx. Lunsford.

Nothing has legally changed in the name front yet, but today I decided I'm going to try out calling myself Moz. It's the only thing that's come close to sounding comfortable for me. So feel free to call me that too! But I still enjoy being called "M" by friends, so whatever you're comfortable with.

And Moz might not stick around! It's just something I'm trying for now. Names are super difficult and I need to see how it feels for a while before making things concrete.

That's all I wanted to say! Thanks for reading!

-M.

Congrats! Love the name Moz.

Curious, would that be pronounced like 'Mozz' or 'Mose'? Either way, that's a cool name. I had no idea you were non-binary until you mentioned it was close to your own experience coming up with Dimi, who is awesome by the way. Anyway, thanks for the update. Glad you're pushing to find what works for you, and thanks for being so awesome and sharing your art with us.

Good luck, Moz! I hope the new name is comfy.

Thank you for sharing.

Hope the name works out! Or if it does not, you find one you like better. There's really no harm in experimenting. Either way, good luck!

I know how ya feel, Moz. I already had a fairly gender-neutral name originally, but sometimes you need something totally new to truly feel comfortable. Like Moz, or Crufl.

That's great Moz! I've been experimenting a bit with my name lately too, as a non-binary person, so I sort of know where you're coming from. Thanks for sharing!
