SotD Concepts - Part 5: The First Cover (Patreon)

I can't show off the cover I'm working on just yet (I really love how it's turning out, and I can't wait for you to see it!), but I thought I'd let you see all the concepts for it I did!

As you can see they all have a similar theme to them, but with different takes on how to present the ideas.  Trying to figure out how to fit all the pieces I wanted together was really tough. It didn't happen just in one sitting, I did 2 or 3 at a time before giving up and waiting to try again another day. I looked at tons of comic covers to get inspired, hoping something would click. It's never as easy as just drawing some thumbnails then picking the one you like.

In the end, the final thumbnail in the bottom right hand corner was the one I went with.  It might not be the most striking thumbnail, but it worked the best with the elements I wanted, and I love how the final product is looking!
