Announcing: No-Pony-Vember! (Patreon)

One of the reasons I started a Patreon was to help push my skills as an artist, especially in new directions away from what I had previously focused on. The Monthly Picture, suggested and voted on by you, was one way of getting to that, in the hopes that people would want to see some things that I hadn't really dabbled in before. The results have been overall positive, but there are a lot of cases, especially in the Monthly Sketch Rewards, where I find myself being pulled back into a lot of MLP-related art.

To this end, as a short experiment, I'm setting up this November as No-Pony-Vember. For that month, all art that I do here will be strictly non MLP-related. That includes the Monthly Picture (for which suggestions will be opening tomorrow) and November's Reward Sketches. Ponies and clearly pony-related characters (such as MLP-esque gryphons, dragons, and other species) will be off the table.

Now, folk who only have MLP-based characters are welcome to request canon things from other other properties, or a TF'd version of one of their own OCs. And just to make this clear, this will not affect the upcoming stream this month; it only affects the month of November.
