Snakes are not dragons, despite the inspirations that some have drawn for depictions of the latter from the former. Still, that doesn't mean they can't enjoy some of the pleasures that dragons do, when the opportunity arises. In this case, a sly serpent - perhaps the same one who got his coils around Lief so long ago - seems to have snagged a less-than-lucky kobold, who's currently squirming in what amounts to a warm, tight, and very slimy hammock.

How exactly did he find himself in this unenviable situation? Nobody can really say, except for him and the snake. And neither of them seem to be all too eager (or able) to spill the beans. Unfortunately for the kobold, his scales are only going to prolong the already drawn out process of serpentine digestion. That bulge may go on squirming for a while in there...
