An Important Announcement (Patreon)

So I admit, these past few months have been something of an experiment. Making a Patreon page was something of an intimidating prospect for me, and up until now the reward scheme has reflected that. I've been tentative about what's promised, because I wasn't sure if I could live up to too much obligation. However, having been through a a good few cycles and gotten a feel for everything, I think it's time to update things. So, here's a list of changes, starting as soon as possible.

Firstly, $1 patrons are now to be including in voting for the Patreon Monthly Drawing, and I'm making it clear that all patrons from $1 up get to see it in full resolution, a month before it's released publicly.
Secondly, and the major change, the monthly sketch raffle for $10 patrons is being scrapped. Instead, all $10 patrons will be entitled to individual sketches, which will be drawn live in a patron reward stream. It's worth nothing that, unlike the monthly raffle, this reward is not subject to a stretch goal, and will be starting this month. A post explaining the rules for this stream reward has already been posted, and there's a link to it both at the bottom of this post and in my creator info.

And finally, also with regard to $10 patrons, there's a new way to submit suggestions for the monthly poll. Instead of corresponding via DM here on Patreon, I'll be setting up a suggestion sheet on Google Forms where patrons can submit anonymously. This means both that one doesn't have to be self-conscious about making suggestions, and in the event of a tie-breaker it removes any potential bias on my part, making it fairer for all. The link to this sheet will be posted after the previous poll goes live, and I'll post periodic reminders.

You also may have noticed that the amount of pledges seems to fluctuate rather alarmingly. This is because I've been exposed to a lot of fake accounts that are being flagged as fraud when Patreon goes to charge them. I'm not sure where they're all coming from and why I seem to be getting hit with so many, but since I don't know for sure if an account is fake until the next monthly payment cycle I've been forced to switch to an upfront charge, to be sure that anyone trying to get access to content is a legitimate patron. Now this shouldn't affect any of you who are already patrons, but I wanted to let you know, for the sake of clarity and transparency.
