This season called for a very different approach to the Patreon exclusive section of the episode. Would love to hear what everyone thinks. Please excuse the lack of thumbnail, I'm running behind on this one bc I'm preparing some insane stuff that's coming soon. Can't wait to show everyone.

Love you all, thank you for the support,

Martin 'keeping' the red tags on the clothes to show the vintage look made me think of Virgil 'keeping' zip ties and prints on his shoes. It seems like Virgil may have taken that from Martin and changed its meaning from a vintage look to an 'it just came off the factory line' luxury and hyper new look. Which is an interesting connection on how old vintage and new luxury are connected in the actual clothing.

Loved the analysis as always very insightful, one thought that came to mind with masking the vintage bags with cotton fabric, reminded me of dust bags and the house’s interest in showing the process - what happens behind the scenes of conserving vintage objects. On the other hand it made me wonder if the house was proposing a practical approach to using luxury bags in everyday applications without damaging the leather, almost like a condom for your expensive bag.
