this episode was very powerful, just cemented Lee and Gai as an incredible duo, cant not love those two :) seeing how they met each other and formed their bond was so nice :) they took us on a whole emotional journey here :D big up Tsunade as well that was a great ending :)

Easily my favorite episode from this era of Naruto. Overall it pretty dam high up there going forward to. In general I do prefer Og Naruto over Shippuden, mainly cause of pacing. Nut there are some really solid episodes in both series. Ones like this hit the best for me where its not focused on action, but the characters themselves. Lee and Gai, Naruto and Konohamaru, them are some goals for relationships that have nothing to do with romance.
