late commenting on this one since i’ve been watching mostly on twitch but i love how just in the first 7-8 episodes we see Bakugo lean so far into his superiority complex with thinking he’s like a great prodigy and that no one’s on his level before starting UA (and for a little bit after) just to have it completely crumble during the first combat training, then to see him really break down from it afterwards but still have the grit and determination to wanna be number one. it’s such a great hook for his characters emotional storyline
