this takes place in the early 20th century so guns were def a thing. its why there is power and trains and all that. its probably around 1912-14 before the start of world war I

I'm sad I wanted to tune in yesterday to see the finale and stuff live (it was also my bday) but by the time I woke up and loaded I saw you were at the end of the final episode LOL I'm not sure if you already have talked about it, but do you have thoughts for what you may watch next? Psycho pass is really fun and ufotable also animates the main FATE series which honestly is an amazing anime series :) thanks for the content as always, wishing you and other viewers the best!

Yep! That's why we have "Taisho secrets" at the end of the episodes - referencing the era of Emperor Taisho, from 1912 to 1926. There's not much to go on as far as exact year, but there's a building still standing in the city that Tanjiro was in early season 1 (Ginza) that fell in an earthquake in 1923, so it was before that. Basically somewhere between 1912 and 1922.

I think that the development of the 4th moon is incredible ( I know that you watched all the episodes in live but I did not spoil for others ). It is known that hatred can either be linked to the sadness of the individual or to the pleasure that turns into a kind of madness, or it can be linked to joy, to feeling good in this hatred. But in any case, one feels anger for something if one has hatred. Hence the fact that the demon of hatred appeared from the demon of anger and absorbed the other emotions because when we are in a hate attack, we do not think about anything else but our hatred (we no longer feel our sadness, we just want revenge). Right now it’s my favorite demon, plus they’re all stylish.
