Yeah the 3 objects Mahito had were what he stole from the school last arc. Also the next 2 episodes (24 especially) are on par with 19 and 20 imo in terms of awesomeness.

Hanami still talks in their own language (which the anime depicts as talking backwards), but the meaning flows into your mind if you hear them speak. Once that got fully explained to the viewer it changed so that the audience can hear / read the meaning instead. From the character's perspective though, nothing has changed.
