Monthly Update: August 2023 (Patreon)

Hey there!

I hope everyone had a great July. As a new month starts (and billing resumes after a brief hiatus) it's time to take a look at what's coming up during August.

Let's start with a change to the $5 supporter tier …

After giving this some serious thought, I am discontinuing the Explicit Edit Poll. It's occurred to me that my backlog of art - and therefore the number of possible choices for which piece to edit in a given month - is small, making these polls kind of limited IMO. So rather than voting on a small selection of previous drawings to receive an explicit edit, each month you will receive an explicit edit of the previous month’s Fan Art Poll winner. This means you can expect an explicit edit of the recently posted Spider-Gwen fan art next month, as the recent explicit edit of Rukia Rounding Out counts as this month’s explicit piece and the final explicit piece to stem from the old Explicit Art Poll. I hope this is a change you’ll enjoy, as you can now look forward to spicy versions of all my monthly fan art, one month after the original post!

I’ve also renamed supporter tiers to the following: Soft Tier ($3), Squishy Tier ($5), and Super Squishy Tier ($10). I know, pretty wild.

NOTE: If anyone at the $5 tier who has already been charged for this month is unhappy with this change and would like a refund, please DM me and I’ll help you out.

As far as drawings and polls coming your way in August …

Last month had no new polls while billing was on hold, and since I’ve already delivered both the monthly fan art and explicit edit from the last set of polls, the last thing I owe you guys for this month is a new WG sequence, featuring Shinobu from Demon Slayer. But of course you can expect a couple of bonuses here and there since I’ll have some time ;)

With the removal of the Explicit Edit Poll for the $5 Tier and above, this month you can look forward to the usual WG Sequence & Fan Art Poll, which will go live soon.

One more thing …

I will be opening commissions later this month. The announcement will go live here and on public feeds as soon as slots are available, but I make it a priority to always give my most dedicated supporters a heads up so you have a better chance of getting your request in before slots are filled. So if you’re interested in a commission, start brainstorming and sit tight until the official announcement.
