Great reaction as always, At first (like 15 years ago)I didn't much enjoy this episode but over time i've grown to like it. It shows the doctors world from a different perspective and in different eyes in this case Elton's. Also this is the first ever episode that features less screen time of the doctor It called a doctor-lite episode. Fun fact The Abzorbaloff was created and designed by a kid as part of a design a Doctor Who monster competition for Blue Peter. The original design had it being a lot bigger/taller than a normal person and i think was meant to have skin that was constantly oozing and dripping However due to budgeting reasons Russell T Davies (the showrunner and headwriter) had to re-adapt the creature to affordable prosthetics design. https://youtu.be/YRGDMg4XZ1s?si=vZSLEOkOrc0fepPw

Ya know, when you first began this show I had a feeling straight away that you would fall into the like category for this one. This one is a litmus test for those who understand what this show is. As although I appreciate all the opposing opinions, it has just emboldened me to love it more. This one is silly, dark, funny, touching and totally irrelevant. Occasionally the production needs a Doctor and or companion light episode for the shooting schedule. Generally speaking, this is probably the most hated NuWho episode for a long long long while. It might even still be. It was of no surprise to me that you liked this one.
