Honestly some of your confusion at the end there was a little surprising. 1) Big electromagnetic event happen happens on the island. "electromagnetism, geologically unique" Huge magnet that's pulling everything in. Failsafe key turned, sky goes violet and everything vibrates. 2) Some scientist guys presumably in the Antartica have a computer beeping saying 'electromagnetic anomaly detected' :D I think 'what they've found' and given who they called what they were looking for should be a bit more obvious :) Penny's quote earlier in the ep feels very relevant: "with enough money and determination, you can find anyone" What an ep tho - can't wait for s3!
