The Lee, Kara, Sam, Dee situation is a lot better to watch with hindsight than it is on first watch. It's one of those plotlines that isn't great to watch but has a purpose and adds to characters and without it other stuff would suffer. With you on it though, feels mid season 3 has a few plot lines that could be trimmed, its my least favourite part of BSG but leads up to some of my favourite
