Partly Spoileralert i think: I really hate how the Mirror Piece is never mentioned before in the films.... so u get completley lost about it (and for this movie itm ay be the biggest plot hole). In the book Harry resieves that mirror from sirius in "The Prisoner of Azkaban". It´s part of a set of two mirrors which are linkt to eachother. so u look in one and look out of the other. at the end of book 3 Harry breaks it but keeps this shard. The other Mirror gets his way to someone, that makes it usfull for Harry . Harry keeps looking in thes shard and even in the movie u can see someone watching back. In the books Harry always thaught it was Albus Doumbledore, while it was someone other. Can´t be more explicit without heavy spoiler But just never mention this shard ever... and than just go like Harry had it forever... it´s so confusing.
