at the end: they panicked because there was a base star there. They didn't know everyone on it is dead :D - I think Athena just got some 'bad vibes' and was quoting some relevant scripture from Pythia that had a foreboding connotations. I guess cause we know there's a disease on there that kills Cylons and she's a Cylon it's meant to be a little foreboding moment that danger is afoot.
