I remeber watching this episode when it aired and it was one of the few times that a TV show really got in my feelings :D The pool scene is so beautiful, also that Matteo is the one who asks if they should run away and keeps initiating things. I love about Druck that they change things up. As you said, there are scenes from the OG you can't top so I like that they're doing it differently. Same goes for the characters. I really like Matteo and David. I feel like I can relate to them cause they both seem more reserved, insecure and introverted. Matteo being grumpy and the way he lights up whenever he is with David is so amazing to watch and I love how the actor portrays him. Matteo saying he wants to go to Detroit is linked to the first episode when he and David had their first conversation about running away, David said that he wants to drive to Detroit :-)
