Anna Hunt

I'm so glad you started this show!! This is how I found your channel (subscribed when I saw the first reaction on youtube) but I'll stay around for some of the other reactions because your reactions are so fun!! I love all the little details about this episode! The blue dress that was made by Marilla who used to be all about no frills, the way that Matthew only got worried when anne said she didn't want to leave, the fact that Anne named the cows Pride and Prejudice... And of course the way the scene with the train and Diana was done. I've seen it several times, and I still feel like I'm on the edge of my seat. This show was a real masterpiece, and thank you for doing such good reactions!! I will really miss them

Is it sad that I have so many of these scenes memorized lol. I am very curious though with how they were going to handle the Ka'kwet storyline in season 4 because Anne wouldn’t forget about her, she would keep fighting for her. However, there was no happy ending to that story because the last residential school for First Nation children did not close until 1996 in Canada. I think Moira, the creator, commented that the Ka'kwet storyline ended in episode 9. In that case, the last frame of her in the school looking outside, so close to a life she’ll never have again, was haunting. But like I said Anne wouldn’t have given up.

I agree completely. Even if they continued the show, it felt like the end for her. It’s the sad reality of what actually happed to the indigenous people.
