In my opinion this is an underrated episode, music wise. The episode overall is not the best (aside from the Sam plot), but I love Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album and I think everyone did a decent job in their renditions.

Glad you enjoyed the episode! Santana had her first solo in 2x05, the rocky horror episode, in the beginning of it, she was the lips. Then she had Valerie in the sectionals this season. Trouty Mouth in 2x16 probably doesn't count yeah. I loved Brittany in this episode, a rollercoaster of emotions for her. Artie calling her stupid, Santana ditching her.. The Sam stuff was awesome too

Sam is so interesting because he came into glee already telling everyone that his morals are more important than status, the he defended Kurt (a guy he basically knows nothing about) several times, then Finn and Quinn treat him like garbage and now we found out that he is homeless. This dude went through his own personal hell while still sticking up for others and I respect him a lot for that.

On the ratings, I think this is about a 7 for me. But it doesn't usually take much for me to like an episode. Also, is that the reputation of Broadway, that the songs aren't upbeat? That's not at all what I think of.
