Thank you once again for another great reaction! This is another great episode too. I really enjoy the overall feel of it. I like how this entire episode is set within Haven's police station, with the exception of the very beginning when Nathan is seen carrying coffee for everyone when he runs into Dwight, and an officer who arrested him after Dwight had been caught breaking and entering somewhere with a crossbow in hand. I also love that the "trouble" seen is a fast killing virus of sorts, which it is a bit eerie that you happened to be on this episode during this time. But nonetheless... I really enjoy it. Now, as for what I really disliked about this episode first... When Nathan started talking to Audrey and mentioned that she would be going on a date again with Chris, indicating that Chris has come back for this episode, I was so mad. I had figured that after his last episode, Roots, that Chris was gone for good. And then as this episode continued on, Chris really got on my nerves because he acted like such a jerk. First with talking down so much to Audrey and yelling at her for not being who he needed her to be, as well as with him being stupid enough to give the psycho a gun after using his own "trouble" to get the deputy to hand it over to him upon falling for the psycho's lies. I didn't really understand the point of bringing Chris back into the show again. However, the actor who plays him... Jason Priestly directed this episode, so it makes sense he would make himself a character in it as well. Plus... the only good thing that comes from Chris being brought back in, was so that we could see Audrey break up with him for good. I agree with Audrey that she can't be the girlfriend Chris needs her to be. She deserves to be the girlfriend for someone who can love and appreciate her for exactly who she is, and that's most definitely Nathan. As for as Dwight... It's great that we were able to see him again, and that this is the episode where he appears to become more of a regular character on this show than he was in his first appearance in Haven. And I really love his character all the more throughout this episode, because he shows complete support in Nathan and because he's just an awesome guy. Plus... I love that we learn he has a "trouble" that causes bullets to be attracted to him when he saves Nathan's life in end as the snipers outside begin shooting at him the moment Nathan opens the station's back door to let Dwight inside. What a cool, yet awful "trouble" for a big tough guy like Dwight to have. Also... in the end when Dwight calls Nathan the Chief, you stated that it appeared Nathan is once again the Chief after the former Chief is killed from the virus. However, this isn't the case. I believe that Dwight called Nathan the Chief more out a sign of respect and to show Nathan that he fully supports him over whoever else the Rev will put in. I really love this about him. Dwight fully supported and respected Nathan's father, and he sees the same came of respect and honor in Nathan too. Next, as for Evi being killed by the snipers before she confesses anything to Duke... Like you, I feel badly for Duke because he still did care for her, but I wasn't sad to see Evi killed. I really didn't like her character at all. And in honesty... she was stupid for leaving the station because she knew darn well that snipers were out there waiting to kill anyone who stepped outside, especially since she had already become infected by the virus. And she was working with the Rev, and was in too deep with him to quit. She said as much. I don't feel sorry that she's gone at all. Also... I love that Nathan did what he had to do to protect Duke from getting himself killed just like she did when he knocked Duke unconscious. Duke was angry and not thinking clearly, especially when he lashed out and struck Nathan for no reason at all. Duke wasn't great in this episode, but I appreciate that he told Nathan the truth about Evi having been the one to get him fired right away, and that they worked together at first to try to get information from her. And lastly... as for the overall storyline with the virus being spread throughout the station because of the "troubled" abused wife and her wife beater husband... I feel so badly for this woman and certainly don't blame her for having so much fear that causes her to unleash the virus that wound up killing at least two people throughout this episode. Her psycho husband made her terrified. I loved the ending when Audrey helped her to find the strength and courage to finally stand up to him, as she turned her "trouble" on him instead, and allowed for her to save everyone else she had already infected. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you again! I can't wait for more Haven like always!!! So, until next time, my friend...
