From the moment the grandpas tell Shimada they're never going to change, the scenes in his hometown become suffused with light. Even as Shimada is walking down the stairs of the train station, the light is shining on him. the lighting is really connected to Shimada's emotional . The second season is better than the first in every way and you will know what I mean by the time if you rate the first season 10/10 the second season will be 20/10
