Kirika calls the festival they go to their Happy Smile Vacation which is one of her character songs for AXZ they didn't use in the anime, it's very good and cute all about her first summer vacation. Also one of my favorite songs would recommend checking it out on the wiki. The trio of the schoolgirls were at the birthday party for Hibiki but don't think they showed up outside of that this season. Yeah the ova's are canon and there is something in the next season that specifically brings up something that happened in one of the ovas.
