This episode for me is the one that really opens the world of One Piece because it gives us not only a satisfying punch but introduces us also to so many organisations and characters that we before only heard of. And with my "Oda plays with expectations" a few episodes ago I meant Blackbeard too – your "he is a nice guy" nearly made me fell from my chair.:) His actions in Drum island and the killing of a crew member don't seem to hint in this direction. With this episode we know five of the seven original warlords/shichibukai at least by name. Dracule "Hawkeye" Mihawk – swordsman, unknown former bounty, defeated Zoro easily Sir Crocodile – Sand devil fruit user, former bounty: 81 million, defeated by Luffy and striped of his title Jinbei – only mentioned as the one that set of Arlong to the East Blue Donquixote Doflamingo – can seemingly control people, former bounty: 340 million, bored of his well running "island business" at the moment Bartholomew Kuma – unknown fighting style, former bounty: 296 million ??? ??? The Blackbeard pirates are revealed to us after we only "knew" them from invading Drum island out of unknown reasons and Ace's hunt after Blackbeard: Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard) Lafitte (the guy in the meeting room) Jesus Burgess (helmsmans and fighting champion) Van Augur (sniper) Doc Q (a sick doctor) We find out that there are Five Elders/Gorosei that rule the world and they are really worried about a meeting between Whitebeard (shown here for the first time) and Shanks. Shanks newest crew member that was sent to Whitebeard (and had no success) has a bounty that is nearly as high as Luffys at the moment. And we even know now the Fleet Admiral of the Marines, Sengoku. So many questions now: What is Blackbeard plannning? Will he replace Crocodile? What wants Shanks from Whitebeard? Are Doflamingo and Kuma stronger than Crocodile because their former bounties are higher? Why has Sengoku a goat?
