Digital art is hard! I am used to drawing my characters in my sketchbook or on paper, but drawing digitally with a tablet feels weird and alien. I think I've never sketched my characters digital so I thought I might as well start now (since I want to draw a comic and all <_<). I want to try and do more expression studies with them because a lot of narrative in comics is carried by expressions and I am not sure how well my style lends itself to expressive and emotional faces. I tend to draw charactes with pretty stony faces so this is a struggle.

Now to introduce this lady: this is Delilah, she is the protagonist of the comic I'm working on. As soon as I am more used to drawing my characters digitally (I'll train every day) I'll post character sheets here.

PS: I love how you can see the progress, how the face on the  left is the first one I drew, without warm-up, and the third one was the last. The difference of lines and shapes is jarrring and just shows me that warm-up is so important!
