This was a rough one to listen to, not just because children getting hurt/killed, cops being worse than useles, and corporate/money interests getting away with murder. A niece of an ex was also sent away to a troubled teen facility, and I really fear for her future and how the trauma of that experience might have derailed her life. It's was never my place to have a say, and even less now that her aunt and I are no longer together, but listening to episodes about this topic really brings a sort of phantom pain, because I want to help, but can't.

New documentary up on Netflix called The Program. Not about CEDU but about another carbon copy called WWASP. It would be another good conversation with Katherine Kubler.
