I’m fairly certain that the “Hand of God” iDoser was a fake, I remember everyone hyping it up like he said, and then it was just a normal 20 minute iDoser that had an uplifting vibe that then sharply cut to loud, uncomfortable static, jump-scare style. The “legend” of how crazy it was revolved around how jarring that change was after a long, relatively pleasant intro section: the “hand of God” retracting its benevolence.

My ex is ‘psychic’, at least I believe it. Told me stories of how she and her friend would practice remote viewing by going to different rooms of their houses (hundreds of miles apart) and describing what they saw of each other, among other things. She said the main reason people don’t see ‘spirits’ is because deep down they don’t want to or they don’t believe fully- they’re always around but if you’re scared or if you don’t want to see them you won’t.

The mark of something being real as opposed to not real is whether it exists regardless of whether you believe in it... We know gravity is real because if someone jumps off a building, even if they really believe they can fly, they splatter on the pavement. We know ghosts and psychic powers aren't real because even true believers can't produce any real evidence of them despite trying very very hard.

Maybe. Idk, I’ve never seen a ghost, just heard some interesting stories which may be made up. More fun to believe though.

great, great episode. broken man story was so spooky. i get sleep paralysis too. but i don't open my eyes bc i know i'll see some shit. i've heard an old woman laugh though.

Tried to steal a visa gift card to get some premium iDoser tracks when I was 13, thank you for bringing it up. Shortly thereafter, I began having near nightly sleep paralysis issues, doubtlessly unrelated but funny to think about it.
