Fun fact: Lee’s brother Daniel is the drummer for Turnstile

Tusk is for boys. Tango in the Night is for men

Brydon

Monopoly man doesn't have a monocle

Ive started thinking how we are like animals not humans to the capitalists. They think of us only as afarmer thinks of a horse to pull the plow.. Thats the central psychopathy of that class. They loose their humanity getting the power they hold.

Does Brace really hate Fugazi? I hope he was kidding about that.

Kane

I really hope Brace was not kidding about hating Fugazi.

Victoria Annesley

Without a doubt. Even less so. I haven't listened yet but these people have more affection in a strange way (they don't have the capacity for real empathy) for their "pets". I don't even like referring to animals that way.

Victoria Annesley

Fairport Convention are excellent. Yes indeedy

Michael Hollitscher

Brace, when are you having me on so we (mostly me) can talk about how Liege and Lief totally fucking slays? Next ep? Cool, I’ma crash on your couch. See you in a few minutes.

Tyler Kurth

I could listen to y'all talk for five hours straight. Great episode. The past few episodes of trueanon have been really great!

OyKay

I get weepy just thinking about Sandy Denny's B-side collection

Ben

These have been so good lately

Great interview. Too bad Lee works for Omidyar. Speaking of Omidyar minions, respect to Greenwald for being a fan of the show. I have strongly mixed feelings about him but he’d be a great guest Oh, Mini Mike just dropped out and endorsed Sleepy Joe (who was never cool enough to get invited to Little Saint James)

Also, the Singapore sex mall is Orchard Towers, aka “Four Floors of Whores”. I didn’t visit there when I was in Singapore in January because it’s full of scammers and thieves and drink-spikers and assorted underworld types who get into vicious brawls. I would never want to live in Singapore but it is a nice place to visit actually and there is a lot going on underneath the extremely well-maintained and brutally enforced facade. Some David Lynch vibes. Also delicious food

Gary

Respect for disliking Fugazi. The Ween of punk.

Was barry Humphries the Australian known for playing a dowager??? Ive had my theories on that fucker for years

MechanicalJunkie

Wow, racism out of control in this ep. just replace “reporters” with “n words” and I think you’ll see the problem of bringing on a token friend to bash a persecuted minority

pat

Unbelievable, the Packer hanger-on network continues to pop up in the weirdest places

Barry was good m8s with pedo Donald Friend. In his Foreword to Ian Britain's book, Barry reminisces about visiting Friend in Bali and often finding him surrounded by "an army of adoring houseboys". https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2016-11-28/donald-friend-our-favourite-paedophile/8053222

Its very parochial but i think a portion of an episode focused on the worshipful public obsession that the aus news and entertainment crowd have for pedophiles in general would be interesting

Faith//void fucking rips

The kid that was targeted by the Singapore Government for posting political stuff in YouTube gained asylum in the U.S. and is revealed to be a paedophile, by the way. I know this is 2 years late but like I thought that was a teeny coincidence considering the topic of the podcast.

bloomberg may have won this round

Check out Tracy Twyman’s book Genuflect. Bloomberg gets up to some wacky antics in that one
