cybernetics is honestly one of the hardest topics to grasp given that it originates from MIT math heads building weapons, you basically have to digress into Claude Shannon and information theory, you probably need to dive into the metaphysics of electrical engineering, then it expands and metastasizes into an ideology in Rand corp. military planning, and then seeps into the subculture/theory worlds.
