RENAMON COMIC PROGRESS- 1 (10/4/22) (Patreon)

The first PROGRESS UPDATE: one of many, I'm sure.

INTRO: This maybe yet another big undertaking, but I am beyond excited to get my feet wet with this. Like the Klonoa comic before it, this comic will play with a bit more setup before the transformation itself occurs. As seen through previous works, I firmly enjoy displaying a sort of connection between suit and host. In typical rescue like fashion, the connection will be formed through mutual protective desires. This comic will let me explore that with *DIALOUGE*! A first time for one of these.

To explain the scenario:

Just like in the auction's description, this is a world ravaged by alien robots. two of the designs which have been designed by plastic! (See attachment) Xavier, the protagonist of this comic has been trying to make their way over to the next safe spot, but unintentionally crossed paths with three enemies. With nothing but a broken arm and virtually nowhere to run they get caught and dragged out by a robot with extending arms.

Images 2-4 board the arrival of Renamon from a stray device that had activated upon sensing the danger Xavier was in. Promptly leading to a surprise strike and diversion that leads to both of their escape. This portion hasn't been fully boarded and will include more interactions beyond one strike to the blaster robot.

Image 5 Board's the interactions the two have in a quiet place away from the danger. Renamon will tend to and explain to Xavier that they themselves won't be able to remain to help. As their manifestation isn't meant to occur for a long time.

This will then prompt the protagonist to wish there was something they could do in spite of how opposing the threat is. Broken armed be damned. Which will lead into Renamon's excitement and proposal of the two activating the merging function.


HOPEFULLY next update will show a bit of that off but no promises hehe!
