I promised beards for ALT1: Facial Hair, and here it is. In progress. I am not sure I will be able to make them look as good as the eyebrows (as far as masks go), but I can try, using the same techniques.

Additional ideas for an ALT1: Facial Hair update I *might* implement - let me know if you don't like something:

  • Make a KS Hairdos colored version. The color of KS Hairdos textures is a little bit different from vanilla, and it seems to react better with color.
  • Maybe a desaturated, neutral-ish grey version so the colour is "true" to the Skyrim colored overlays. If you didn't know, you don't choose different textures to pick a hair or skin color in Skyrim (like eyes). You use one texture for hair, that is then overlayed in-game with a specific color, and that's how you get different colors in Skyrim. KS Hairdos, and any non-desaturated color adds its own warm\cold\greeny tint (depending on the color of the texture - for example vanilla is greenish!). In theory, grey color should show the real color you use; I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Let me know what you think of that!
  • Add a mini-plugin with new eyebrows (for vanilla and high poly KL eyebrows), that will include using (some) female brows on male characters and vice versa. Not all of them, because I'm not sure all of them would look adequate. Also, that would allow to bring back\re-touch *some* of the older eyebrows I included with ALT1 plugins.

I need a break from making presets, so this is it. I'm sorry, I don't have the energy right now to do anything global; that includes the dragon project. I remember everything (even the freckly face! And the vitiligo skin, too). I'd like to kindly remind you all that you are free to unsubscribe at any moment you want, and if you need a refund, just PM me here!

Speaking of NPC Mod and textures; I *do* plan to make a mini-plugin for NPC Mod (eventually) that would include the new custom complexions the NPCs use, so they're available for your player character. Also a complexion mod for ALT2:

  • The ALT2 mini plugin\add-on one will probably include around ~10 complexions and many more textures for you to pick from, adapted from ALT1: Makeup, and other ALT1 custom made things. Will probably include that forlorn freckly face, or a couple. I'm very sorry I'm putting this off, you know who you are! But I did not forget. I thought about implementing it carefully, rather than just throwing out one more texture out there.

I am enjoying what you have offered up so far, so I don't plan on going anywhere.
